Pictures of holden cars at the Berri Show'n'Shine held in November 2003

Berri Show 'n' Shine Hot Holden pics

Dazza sent us in some pics of the Berri Show 'n' Shine. He said it was an awesome event with plenty of tidy holdens. Click on the thumbnails below to view each car in full size.

One of the cars there was his mate Jason's vl commodore. This immaculate vl is painted candyapple pearl by Jason himself, who is a panel beater by trade. The motor is a stock 308 with a sports exhaust system. The car is lowered all round with 17" international alloys on it.

In those pictures you can also see Brian's HT Monaro in the background and Jason's GOLD1A ute which are also featured on this site.

The next car shown is Brian's other car, a VR commodore. This car has a detailed interior, has been lowered all round and sits on some nice 17" chromies. Under the bonnet are a set of advanced headers which flow into a 2.5" exhaust, and a racing air pod. This car also has a whopping great sound system in it.

The next car is Dazza's VS SS commodore which is featured on this site here. His very tidy SS sits on lowered suspension, and has a good exhaust system and cold air intake. The car has a throttle body and centre consolse signed by some V8 racing legends.

Next car is Jason Lukie's 'Gold1A' VS S holden V8 ute, which is featured on this site here. This car has been rebuilt from the ground up, has a group a front with some ASV kit parts, and is a very tidy holden. GOLD1A won a trophy for 3rd place in best ute and it pulled 225hp on the dyno.

The next car we have a picture of from the event is Jason's brother Mick's holden VL turbo commodore, which is featured here. This is a 5 speed manual and it won 2 trophies on the dya, best vl in its class and peoples choice. This VL turbo pulled a healthy 190hp on the dyno that day.

Below is Fraz's vt holden commodore. This car has the 5.7litre gen 3 engine, with a cold air intake, a chip and a full exhaust system. To make it look better, it has monaro taillights and vx lights on the front end.

The gen 3 pulled almost 300 horsepower on the dyno at the show'n'shine. Dazza says this car has plenty of power, you cant drink in the car coz Fraz will floor it and the drink will end up all over you. You can see Fraz in one of the pics below, Dazza says not only does he have a top holden, this bloke pulls all the chicks as well, they love him.

The next car is XITE ME, lintons supercharged vk commodore. Dazza says this is a great example of a guy who has spent many hours under the hood playing round and toying with ideas, to create a weapon of a car, capable of keeping up with fraz's gen 3.

As well as having a supercharged engine, lintons vk has a full exhaust system, a custom paint job, is lowered all round and sits on 17 inch VR clubsport rims. Italso has a group a grill and a sunroof. Linton has owned this vk for years and loves it. We love it too, great work Linton.

The final car we have pics of from the day is SIR HDT, chris's hrt replica vp commodore. This car has been authenticated by hrt, and has had the engine stamped by them. The V8 engine has been fully rebuilt and balanced, and sounds mighty sweet through a strong genie exhaust system. This vp has been resprayed a tidy black, lowered and sits on a tough set of simmons alloys.
